All this talk about the SansAmp, I found an insane deal locally, and bought it! The RPM model, seems brand new out of the box!! :D :bassist:
This one I will use with my other SVT 4-pro that I am finally getting back on Saturday. I want to work on a nice rack setup with this one! :D

And I went down by the beach to my favourite practice / inspiring spot and took some photos....

Lovely pics to see when just getting up. Especially the one up against the tree... :bassist::bassist::bassist:

Seventh, that is one sexy bass. Good to see fellow Canadians sporting awesome basses! Too bad you're on the over side of the country, I'd love to see/hear your live show!

Nice! I have the RBI but I need to read up on the differences between the RBI and RPM. I believe Geddy Lee is using 2 RPM's in his rig now so I am curious but in my RBI manual, they tell you how to daisy chain both of them together so I can imagine how great that sounds.

Amazing pics as always.

I have both but I haven't had a chance to experiment with chaining them yet.

When using the SVT suggested settings for each separately, I find the RBI is a lot brighter and aggressive where the RPM is warmer and more "vintage" sounding to my ears.

I am curious if anyone has compared the SVT setting on the RBI/RPM to an actual Ampeg tone and if they are close?

Undoubtedly. I love this movie so much I bought the Italian Blu-ray just so I could have it in HD. It's still just a DD 2.0 audio track but better than the DVD.

So much awesome - even the sparse acoustic soundtrack just works.

Man, now I need to go get the Blu-Ray. I watched this not too long ago and really enjoyed it so I need to pick it up.

Yep, I saw Ice Pirates back then too, along with Cherry 2000 - neither film holds up very well these days.

Yup, those along with Tank Girl just don't hold up, haha.

It's pretty sad that we have to go outside the US to get an American movie on Blu-ray even if it is a catalog title. Meanwhile I'm sure the third Blu-ray edition of Avatar is being prepped somewhere.

+1
I owned a pirated dvd of Night of the Creeps because there were no legit versions available until it was released on blu-ray last year. Love that movie - one of my "guilty pleasure" '80s movies.

Man, Seventh that bass is just awesome. Any chance you can do some clips with the RPM? With all of this Sansamp talk I'm starting to drool a little.:hyper:
Take Care,
Brent
