Ya, I'm pretty sure I saw yours there ... nicer finish than mine, only slightly heavier.

A few more pics to add to your suspense: :p

I need to get that additional strap button removed. Whatever you do- don't try to add one there!

Man that is some nice flame striping in the wings on your 'Bird.
Actually, since almost all my basses are radically shaped, I learned that the factory placement on the X shape is where it belongs to eliminate neck dive.

BTW, does anyone call the X shape Spectorbirds? That's what I refer to it as when I am talking to other musicians.

I think they were called Spectorbirds before they were the X series. Iirc Nikki Sixx had a few Spectorbirds built for him in the late 80s/90s.

"For me, all this time it’s been knowing when not to play instead of going all over the place." Amen to that. :bassist:

Indeed. Rex picks his spots to shine and he does. One nice thing for him in Pantera was being a three-piece instrumental setup, he had all that wide open space when Dimebag would solo.

Me, I get to contend with a second rhythm guitar and keys when there's a guitar solo. :)

Guys, my Spector Euro LX arrived.. and it is glorious!

Crappy phone pics, but you get the idea. The amber is a bit darker than it appears on the photo and the finish has an incredible depth to it. I can't wait to play it :)

That's a great looking bass! One of thewse days I may have to add an amber Spector to the "rainbow".

I'm in that club as well. :D

Even though I have 40 ish pedals I too am in the 0 pedals used live. Heck I even use a snark as it works as well as a boss tu-2 or 3 and uses less batteries :hyper:

(again this pro wrestler voice I have been abusing comedically....) "Pedals are for sissies you little girl, you want distortion turn your amp knobs to the right.......or play louder Sally....if that doesn't work, try steriods.....they work for me!!!!" (end pro wrestler voice)

My Friday comedy before leaving work. Let no true offense be taken.........it can't be anyway, as I used an alternative voice, and if I don't use my real voice......then I can't be taken seriously! :D:D:D
