some great recordings lately guys.... I'm going to try out Sam's B3 settings tonight at practice.
Let us know what you think of the sound. I'm gonna set mine up the same way for band practice tomorrow.

Hey guys, I just added recording capabilities to my home practice rig. Here's my first recording.
It's not note for note and there's a couple of flubs but hell, I had fun. Hope you like. (I suggest good headphones)

Is there a sub-group for new-build support?
Because I just joined it.
NS-2 Bolt-on P/Js with HAZ
Kramer era neck shave
Ultra Amber gloss, satin neck
BEM fretboard with Black MOP markers
Black hardware
Ordered through Todd (natch), who we all know is THE MAN.
Might show up around club thread 95.

Cool song!! Mix is a little off but it's only a demo so that's cool. Love the bass tone, great job!![]()
Has a nice FAT tone!!
Full well rounded sound, great tone and performance. You've done a hell of a job with your project so far! Looking forward to hearing the rest of it!

Anton, the balance on the new Coda 4P DLX is excellent. I took mine to band practice Thursday and it balanced just fine. No neck dive issues at all. The tone as Carey described is unbelievable. Quite a variety of tones in this bass. Big and fat Pbass tone to a more modern sound as well.
One of these might be on my list next.
I wanted something different than my NS2 basses but needed the wider neck width, I'm very happy with the Coda P bass and the neck fits these long fingers great...if your searching for a P-bass Spector has a very dynamic one that's full of tone.
Bring on the Coda P Pro series, so I can afford one.![]()

One thing I have to do this morning is use my Fender strap because I have the Schaller gold strap locks on my NS2 basses and need to set up the Dunlop chrome locks for the Coda 4P DLX, I knew I was forgetting something while I was at the Guitar House (he has a rack full of cool straps that was under the Coda 4PJ loaded with active EMG pickups)....guess I can draw a Spector emblem on some masking tape and cover the Fender emblem! lol
Here is a picture of the Family....
Strangely enough...all of my USA Spectors arrived in the cold of Winter and I've opened them after a 1 hour warm up in the house. Nothing harmful happened. Of course 2 were matt finishes.
Same preamp just not stacked.
Since the prior Coda's BT are stacked, then the OBP 3 should work in the New Deluxe models?!?! Seems straight forward to me. Am I missing something?
