I remember the days of small apartments. My wife and I and our baby were wedged into a one room studio for a couple of years. Never give up on your dreams!
My dream is to drive up the coast to southern Alaska. Looks like a beautiful state.

Ah man I could only imagine being cramped in a studio with a wife and child. Makes you appreciate the house quite a bit huh? I won't give up on the music dreams, it's what keeps me going sometimes.

Alaska is definitely beautiful from May to September. Plenty of awesome mountain ranges, bears, and moose to see!

You're gonna love the Berg. It's a Fridge killer!
When paired with my SVT-VR it belts out the lows and has tons of punch its probably one of the more Ampeg sounding cabs from Bergantino.
At one time I had it paired with an Aggie DB750 and that sounded fantastic also. I found the Aggie/Berg combo to be a little darker and more wooly on the bottom end so I switched to the SVT and that tightened things up nicely. The Berg plays well with SS or Tubes so no concerns there and it's a breeze to load in and out - easier than most 410 cabs I've used.
The only negative I've had so far on the SVT/Berg combo is with my Euro 4LX with the non trim tone pump. It was just too much top end no matter how I set the guitar or amp. I found my Musicman HD150/Berg combo to be a better match for that bass. But all my other Spectors and other basses really shine with the SVT/Berg setup.

Nice to hear hopefully My Berg HD212 en-route will be the last cab I ever buy :ninja:

Alaska, and Northern BC (where I'm from), are absolutely gorgeous. :) Be prepared for long, wet, soggy, snowy winters, though. 6' of snow is common up there. :D Sometimes I miss it, but then I think about the gorgeous plethora of seasons I get on Vancouver Island, and none of them last 8-10 months.
