+1 I say watch Lunopolis a few times first, milder brain rape, then work your way up to Primer. My girlfriend has this friend form high school and her husband is a theoretical Physicist/Professor, and all the oddities that come with that level of smarts, I always say you give to get. He spends a few minutes laying out his wallet, his cell phone, and his pocket watch in a perfect stack, then moves till they are like perfectly square with the table, then looks them over a few more times after he gets done. We she said until we started dating he would just be quiet the whole time, but I got him out of his shell by saying I got a movie you would love, Primer, he said I love Primer, instant buddies. Reallya great guy and fun to watch people's strange quirks like the pocket watch thing he goes through too.
I love Primer. I'm a sucker for anything time travel related and I love that movie's take on it. Time Crimes (Los Cronocrimenes) is another good smaller, personal POV style time travel movie. Though it's a very different different tone and style of movie. They both play around with the idea of how time travel changes the concept of a linear narrative in a story in a cool way.

I pretty much always keep the gain on high, but it really is just for a bit more attitude...I personally don't think Genz do dirt very well...set em clean and use a dirt box, that's the only way I'd use em...hoping your findings are different and there's a useful tip in it

I am still trying to figure out how I want to set my El Oso, it's fun to crank it way up sometimes, and then fun to just use it as a boost too. But I think I still dig the Pork Loin over it, but just a touch. I noticed I don't like to use either with pedals that already have clean blends on them. I am having fun collecting some fuzz pedals to A/B now, pretty happy with overdrive and boosts now and modulation types. I don't think I dig Rats with bass though, so many people use them, and I love them on guitar, I would still love to try a Rat Tail or Volt Thrower love, to make sure about the Rat on bass thing. Jonesin for the Sitori Sonics Bass Fuzz to get here, seems to be the old lighter 60s fuzz thing. And I want to get my hands on a Rams Head clone some time too. Had no idea this fuzz thing was so addictive. And I am too practical to keep all of them so it will be like selling your child to slavery when it is time to trime the pedals to a proper sized board lol. Sorry for my pedal rant, just on a high from the Sean Ryan Green Russian clone that came in yesterday, so much fun with both guitar and bass!!!

I'm taking my Jazz, routing it for a P pickup and routing as much wood under the pick guard as possible to get the weight down.
Since I'll never find/afford a 7lb P bass, I'm making my own.
Got the black P guard, black Marcus Miller control covers, and P pick up (thanks again Kawai).
There was a thread talking about routing under the pickguard for weight reduction and having a point of reference for how much wood to remove, would be ideal. Any tips that anyone can recommend would be appreciated.

I have a serious problem.
I do too, out of all gear they are the most affordable to buy, try, keep, or sell. And they are so easy and cheap to ship. The big stuff is once a year, income tax buys. So until then pedal fun to fight boredoom. Although it is almost motorcycle season, then kayak season, camping and being outside season wohoo!!! That whole sports thing though I never got, the occasional hockey game is always fun, but the rest something about guys in tights, chasing each and tackling each, and playing with a ball, just seems GREEK to me, lol. Guess that is how the whole prison sex thing got started lol

Was hoping for natural overdrive but I guess not. Now hopes not as high. I actually had it pegged as one of the top 2. Still have to try them all out and pick them all up from 5 different places
