No need for an octave pedal, EHX mole does what i want, extra bass boost for super massive riffs.

Also found a great setting on the colossus and tape that shvt.

That Collosus seems like a cool pedal, I am starting to wish every pedal, had a tone circuit bypass, a separate control for mids, and a clean blend on it. :hyper:

I feel you on the migraines, I have them almost daily. My main trigger is barometric pressure changes, and living in Virginia they happen all the damn time. Hoping my neurologist will refer me to one of those specialist surgeons who does the surgery to relieve pressure on the nerves being to my eye where the stabbing pain happens. I am worthless at work anymore, technical work is a bitch with it feels like a knife is through your eye and all the way migraines affect concentration. When I post a lot on here is when I am having bad ones as this reptition of simple things tends to be a place to hide out and keep my mind going on simple things, to build up to the harder tasks at work, or at least that is what I tell myself lol

Yeah I saw that, hoping the little guy will pick up on the daytime CN stuff instead of My Little Ponies, Care Bears, Rescue Rangers, so over that crap. I got him in to Rocky and Bullwinkle, and hoping to find more CNetwork stuff for him. I have got him in to the cheese of Bigfoot movies, as a partner in crime.

I'm not that bad with them at all. I only get them rarely, usually from stress and/or lack of sleep. I almost never get them at work, usually on the weekend when I start to decompress, like my brain deflating. It just hit me right in the middle of a phone call at 1 in the afternoon yesterday and lasted until almost 6. I had that thing where my head and body still felt all weird and hollowed out for the rest of the night, even though the pain went away.

Aaaaanyway, fine now, not a chronic thing.

My wife can't wait for us to have kids and have them be old enough to watch all the silly cartoons we already like. It comes up...A LOT. She worries they'll like lame cartoons and asks me things like is it wrong to force them to watch cool cartoons if they have lame taste?

Yeah, the wife and I are fighting that right now. I wish Netflix would let me hide certain things(fresh beat band) so my daughter won't see them.
At least she digs most of the Pixar stuff so its not all lost.

Love the Child of Doom Avatar. Chicken Neck is five and I am good if he watches animal shows or decent cartoons, but when it is pure crap dumb or lame ones after a few he gets the old, Micah go turn the tv on in our our bedroom from his Mom or I. He is a pedal fanatic though, loves to turn them off and on, and loves the leds and graphics too. I also use him as my critic, he starts head bobbing if the riff I am playing tickles his fancy, and the heavier the better for him. He's a Fuzz Child...

That whole Netflix for Kids, and the little bugger is a gamer like his Mother, and he is getting good at reading, best in his class at reading, still struggles with tying his shoes, but can work a remote and Netflix like there is no tomorrow

Go back and watch He-Man and Thundercats and all those 80s cartoons and realize most of us had terrible taste as children. The fact that there are kids in the world now who love stuff like Adventure Time, Regular Show and the dozen other good cartoons I can't think of at the moment is really impressive to me. I think you have to go all the way back to Loony Tunes to get to that level of quality entertainment for kids that adults can also enjoy.

Speaking of going back I gave MacGuyver a shot recently, and it hurt. Just horrible bad.
At least the old V still rocks.

I got called to adjust the Fresh Beat Band one time... Despite having 0 amps on stage they were all really nice and very cool personally. One of the female bandmembers was wearing a Ride the Lightning shirt, I expected her to be cool, and in all honesty she was the only one who wasn't. Actually the exact opposite.

On that note:
Worst band to get called to work for / take care of = Current Guns n Roses

Best / Coolest: Stephen Stills, Trey from Phish (cause I love them), and the Bassist for Sade who was a total old school punk rocker complete with Sid Vicious forearm tattoo..

Haha thanks, man. He's our first and he's a bigg'un. Not even two and he's topping out at 32 lbs.

I'm trying to get into the habit of practicing more, and playing with pedals at home so he's around making music more. I brought my Squier home from the practice space last night and pulled out my old DOD dirt pedal (which sounds surprisingly good with bass...who knew) and he was all into it. My wife had to move his high chair so he could see me while he was eating his dinner last night. :P
