I want that style maple neck veryyyyy bad, but I can't handle the fact they made the jazz in Amber so it doesn't match the neck (at least in pictures).

The p bass is perfect though I'd use a white pickguard, but I want a jazz bass...

Edit does the pearl look weird here? Would it be better with a white guard, don't forget I'd have chrome bridge and pickup covers.

I could dig a p I just really want a jazz.

Buy the P bass and shop and find a body you like or keep the p bass body because you will come back around to that p bass sound anyway, joking but that P is sexy!!!

The wife was in the hospital for 10 days being treated by 3 different specialists, ultrasound and NSTs every day + medication. The only thing we had to pay for was $11/day for TV. Sure we pay for it in taxes but it's way less than any of these prices. I just don't understand American heathcare....

Neither does America lol. Healthcare isn't even the main issue, it's the ridiculous rise in costs for the same exact procedures that cost 1/10th they do in other first world countries.

Buy'em both. Keep the parts You like/want, make a bass, sell off the other stuff in the classifieds. FWIW- Bound'n'blocked necks are "hot" round here, and usually move pretty quick. From what I can recall, the last one I sold on here was gone in under a couple of hours (YMMV of course).

Might do that, but the neck is what I want. I'll probably buy the p bass, and find a jazz body if i still care.

I have $535, ignoring dually money, but I'll have more coming. When I get home in an hour or so, I'll figure out what's up.

Squier bass vi, Chris Aiken P and orange 1000 watt head, someone with killer deal sense find me the best deal or site to bug,o
so I can buy one of these things tonight.

I haven't bought a piece of new gear in over a year. And beyond the project pignose amp haven't bought gear in general since like September and I only got the voodoo power.

I hit him up several times and he kept saying wait til the weekend like two weeks ago? Never heard a peep.

He said he could meet every request though, so I'd love to go that route, but a $299 backup option and gas get me excited.

Yea Jmac made the point too that I could sell off the squier stuff easy enough so if I did that now, I'd get what I want now (immidiate satisfaction) and if I do go custom it's not much more, and will sting to resell.

So that crazy Ric/scpb mongrel will be mine eventually.
