This... is actually pretty much exactly my opinion.
I'm the opposite. I started as a pick-only player. Now I play mostly with fingers, still occasionally with pick if the part needs one. There are some things that I haven't figured out how to do with fingers really well.
Lol, I still don't play as well with them, either. Just, for Catapult stuff mostly works better with fingers.
Man, I'd love to have a V63.Gave it a clean up today, plugged it into the wall, and it powers up! The guy who gave it to me said some tweaker left it at his house years back and almost certainly doesn't even remember it's there, so I could have it. He also said it it didn't work, but I'm willing to bet he didn't know that you couldn't just plug an instrument straight into it. So any of you KVLTists (@mc_muench ) have any info or recommendations on using this thing? It was covered in Cthulu-knows how many years of grime, but it's actually pretty clean with a scrub and some Pledge. Insides full of spider webs so I'll get around to cleaning it some other time. Thing has a cantaloupe of a transformer in it, and some of the biggest can caps I've ever seen.
Also might snag a good deal on a 4001v63 in a couple weeks, if I can swing it financially.

It's weird how disconnected the local doom metal/black metal/crust punk scene is from the death metal scene, here.
I strongly desire to live in California. Certain parts anyway. Spent a lot of time there, up and down. Is the water situation there as dire as it's made out to be?
