No, wait. I'm lying... I'm listening to Momoiro Clover Z. That's even worse. MUCH worse... I hate myself.
A While back I posted about selling my 5 string ESP and picking up another bass. Well, I picked up another bass, but haven't sold the ESP yet. I'm VERY happy with the new beast.
Fender Blacktop Jazz. P/P pickups. $350 + $9 shipping
Also, I'm done with Circle K/Kalium Strings. Yet another E string (I use a BEAD set) that has about half the output of the others. I asked them if they had fixed the issue and they assured me that they had "played with the tapers to fix that issue" I've tried other strings on the bass with no issue, so it's not the setup. I LOVE the feel and sound of the strings, but I just can't have a nearly useless E string. Sigh... Does anyone have any thoughts on what comes close to the feel/sound of Circle K's?

Just a feeler before I get a supporting membership/go to craigslist, but would any of you guys be interested in a '78 Bassman 100? It's in pretty good condition, the preamp tubes were changed right before I bought it about a year ago, and it sounds fantastic. I just found a V4 locally from a friend and really want to get that.
