Is there a before pic? I'm not sure what you did.Okay, take a seat, everyone. I am ready to present to you my latest experiment results. No, I did not make any Ooblick, so keep your yaps quiet. Here's a 30-second summary of why I'm unveiling my art project.
I purchased a Rumble 115 cabinet, knowing the 210 cab would size up perfectly and look like a twin, but decided that I wanted the 15 because I love 'em and thought it'd work perfectly with the Orange Terror Bass amp. That being said, I still would like to use it with the Stage 800, but not with the grill looking the way it did. It's like wearing white loafers with black pants. Sorry, GOFs. Is my 30-seconds over yet? Without any further adieu...
I quite pleased how it turned out, but the best question came from #2 this afternoon when she came into my room and asked, "Is this gonna be loud?"
Edit: oh yeah, I stuck the PJB in there for scale.
I was asked that by the Mrs. I stick the cover on and never thought about it again. It was the standard, but beautiful Fender silver grill cover. I decided it had to at least look the part, so I bought some really good semi-gloss and went to town. Gee, that plastic Fender logo is cheap! Regardless, I’m happy with the results. Tomorrow I’ll unleash the beast or maybe tonight...shhh.

You don’t know how close I was to adding the 210 with the order, but then I thought that it’d be a sign of weakness to the membership, plus I literally have no room left in the house for another cab.

I hear ya. I knew they were plastic, but til I held in my hand did I realize how chintzy it was. No different than any other brand, I suppose. I’ve seen the metal ones too, but agree, it’s not a biggie.
If I lived dorm the street from ya, GP, I’d roll the cab over to your place and let you test the two 15s. It be great if you ever got back to outdoor shows.
Yeah, I considered getting a second 15 to go with the 200c, but I really wanted the 112cab. Only time I regret it is when I gots to move them. The sound of the THUNDERBIRD through a 15 and a 12 is scrumptious.
That's weird. It's like it is yelling, "When I grow up, I'll be able to look out the window" in the second pic.
But I bet it 'll sound as a round bat with a dark bass, towering above a flying castle.

It's here! It's here! @swink y-do, I owe you 5 schmackeroons for being so cynical as to think it would be a day later'n the tracking said it would. In fact, for a while, I had my hopes up it would be an hour earlier than estimated! The constantly refreshing tracking map showed the truck near my town that soon! But, man! Some folks musta got their stuff even 2 or 3 days late, they prob'ly saved up coming here so long, 'cause it was 3 hours later making deliveries to practically ever'body else in town 'for they got to me, smack dab in the middle of the 4 hour window of estimated delivery! Can you beat that?
