To clarify: I don't use any amp that much any more. At the time I bought the R40, the B25 was 'acting up' and I needed a small(size wise)amp. Some of our previous venues were quite tight and every inch mattered. I don't regret getting the 40. As a matter of fact, I'll be using it-and a SS bass-Saturday night on our gig*, again due to lack of room. It's very handy to have a smallish amp, but I wouldn't buy a small amp just for practice. I'd turn a bigger amp down. I'm fortunate to have plenty of room in my house and no one to bit...., er, complain about stuff, musical or otherwise, laying about.Question, everybody:
I was reading one of @GonePlaid ’s posts where he says he doesn’t really use his Rumble 40 that much because he has his R100 and R200.
For those of you that have that @ 40 watt 10” speaker combo (of any brand) but also have bigger combos, do you use the little one or is it extra?
*assuming it doesn't get 86'ed.
Yet the Vox is not "extra", either.
