The Combo Club

How many of you actually rock a combo, without another cabinet?

Me. Replaced one combo with another. Replaced the Lab Series L6 with the Orange TB500 (but still have both). The Orange can produce more volume than I require.

Don't see many of the Lab Series around any more.

.If I did not issue a number it is because you have a traditional main rig and usde the combo sparingly or for practice

Discrimination! =P

My combo is an 810 and 215 with an SVT4-pro and maybe another amp if I feel like it. Its a winning combo for sure.

My combination of gear is a JGR pre putting out a clean and dirty signals to a ProLite 3.0, cleans to my F212, dirt to my DuallyT.

Can I get a number?

Hope I did not miss anyone!! Welcome one and all!

I've been leaving my BA-115 at church and using my MB players school combo at home.I've been toying w/the idea of swapping them because the Markbass is so much lighter,I like the idea of only moving the Ampeg one more time to get it home.A couple weeks ago GC had their MB players school combos on sale for $399 so I another one! Might seem like an unusual setup but I can not power up the bottom combo and just use the speaker, which bumps the power up to 250watts@4 ohms and now I've got a spare backup amp built in that I could switch over to in 2 or 3 minutes easily.Going by everything I've read here,I'm best to run two identical speakers rather than picking up a 2X10"for instance and hoping it matches the MB 15" fairly well.I've already peeled the players school oval off the fronts and will probably put black tape over the Markbass just to make them a little more discrete. At 59years old w/a bad shoulder I love the 35lb weight of these!!
