I don't like coffee or it doesn't like me. It makes me sick when I drink it.
But I love tea and other high caffeine products!

You know, coffee doesn't necessarily get old, but strong. The water evaporates, but the coffee stays in there. There's nothing gross about half hour old coffee.DigMe said:

I have no desire to read this thread, so I didn't, but must post nonetheless.
I've been waiting for an opportunity to give the hightest praise to a Mr. Coffee drip coffee machine. I bought one almost 20 years ago for around $20. Never douched it as they say you should, never really maintained it or did anything other than wipe it down every month or so, and it's been making me excellent coffee every day of my life without fail. I think it may very well be the best investment I've ever made. True quality at a wonderful price.

I'll drink it if it's properly kept in a thermal carafe or something...just not if it's cold, it it's been cold or if it's burnt. When I drove to Phoenix last Christmas I was drinking 8 hour old coffee...but it was still hot out of my Nissan Thermos and it still tasted fresh...just stronger from the grains being in the coffee longer.
