I used to push a pair of Flex 110's and didn't think it could get any better, but the Bodai (yes, they are 10's) take it to another level. Having the tweeter fire back into the mid chamber keeps your highs from beaming and drilling your ear if you are on-axis. They're wonderful to play with - they surround you with a gorgeous envelope of bass tones. I have a Mullard in V1 in my Reeves, and these really let you hear what a sweet, musical high-end it brings...![]()
I'm driving to Chicago tomorrow with a pocket full of cash. Hoping to catch up with Mike A to have him build me a Bodai 2x8 with a 1200 watt ice built in and an extra 1x8 cab. Still thinking about those 10s though...
