ummm...the L&M online store doesn't have a "US option."
So, I guess I gots to try a phone order...
Might need one of you northerners to buy and ship me one, if shipping isn't too bad.

Fellas...

Just picked up a the teardrop case from L&M today and the BH5 fits nicely! It took a bit to break in the neck pocket (foam) to fit my bass and could also use a little extra padding around the headstock (sides) and body (front). Just a little FYI... don't expect too much from these cases... kinda budget yet does the job just fine. ;) :D

thos are nice cases, I have two;
and that's a smoookin' deal on it.
thx for posting that!

my PJ is in one right now.

personally, I prefer the black.

one is new...first time i ordered it came with a faulty zipper "that went into self repair mode right away,"
the second one came with some bass i bought several years ago, and my alleva LG5 is in it.

Chef,

You're welcome...I believe it was you who 1st mentioned these some time ago...a little research and I found this source. I like the design, portability aspect and they seem fairly well appointed...thanks!

the protece is not as nice as the sadowsky portabag.
the zippers are a little lighter grade.
the materials are not as sturdy.
it has two handles that velcro together, vs the one on the portabag.

i've had some that came with "neck rests,'' and some without, but not that had a retention strap for the neck

Ahhhh. That would explain why they are so much cheaper.

I do love the Portabag. Best case I've ever had for a bass, hands down. Worth the money if you gig a lot, IMO.
