nah,
more like spokesperson for jim tressel. haha... oh, and congrats to the big "O". break some legs against LSU.
Yes, I would say that the HS410 is a bit more versatile than the SA410, as it has a tad wider (deeper) frequency range, and a more balanced response from top to bottom. For most applications, I think I will find myself favoring the HS410, in fact. But, the SA410 has a bit more bark and growl, though, and to be honest, I think it might be a better fit for the DB 750 (and several other heads). The 750 has massive lows (and the SA410's can take some bass boost, if need be), but the SA410's added midrange push is a very good thing with the DB 750, if you ask me.
While I'd say I prefer the HS410 on the whole, I can see the SA410 outperforming the HS410 in certain applications.
Tom.
Joker:
FWIW, it is my understanding that all of the SA series cabs are now sold out.
And yes, I also need to try the HS210 (awesome cab!) with the SA410 and HS410. Come to think of it, I have yet to try the HS410/SA410 combo (or the SA210/HS210, for that matter!).
Tom.
well,
if you EVER feel the need to let that sa210 go, you know who to call. hehe...

~$2700 IIRC; I don't think used ones are much less.

I think it was more like $2,800, and yes, the used ones don't go for much less than that.
Now, Eden has a big tube head made by Koch (same guys who built the SA200).... I DO have a deal with them still.....wonder if I could get one to check out......
Well, looks like it Satin will be lounging around the pool eating snowcones before I'll own one of those!!!

Who is this Satin lady.... and why does she like snowcones?
Is this an alimony situation?
LOL!

Heck, we can break out my VT-300A the next time you come down, if you like!
The short story is that you can definitely hear the 'Koch heritage' in both the VT300A/B and the SA200, but the preamp sections are very different, and the two sound very distinct from each other.
Tom.

OK youz guyz (Joker and Mike)
