The SA410 was literally made for the SA200. I'm not a huge tube amp fan, but MAN it sounds good. That is literally a perfect match, with the tight low end of the SA410 and high efficiency literally designed for that specific amp (i.e., relatively low powered for a tube amp, with a big tube low end, but capable of quite modern tone if desired)..

I again have not heard the HS410, but the design goal of that, from my understanding, was to take the basic SA410 design, and move it away from 'tube amp optimal' (since the SA200 was discontinued), and to voice it with a more open low end, but still high efficiency for optimal use with moderate powered SS amps like the Thunderfunk, Markbass, etc., etc.

Combine the look of the SA410 that matches the SA200 beautifully, and I'd be all over that one:)

Let's put it this way. The VT300A kicks booty, and for a variety of overdriven tones at any volume you want, it's flat out killer. But, it's no SA200. :cool:

To be honest, I think I could very happily use either the HS410 or SA410 with the SA200, but if I were going to be using it solely with the SA200, I'd probably opt for the SA410.

Initially I was on to making an sa 810 out of two sa410's stacked. I heard great things about the sa210/sa410 stack and that supposedly it added more bass? And now I'm wondering about the sa410/hs410 combination. That could be mega mamoth with the increased low end of the hs and the bite of the sa.

If any of you fellas get to putting these together do tell about it!

Two SA410's are really amazing, and the additional cone surface allows for a dramatic increase in volume (when used with the SA200), as compared to one SA410, or even the SA210/SA410 combo.

That right there in a perfect example of "Bass Nirvava" for me.
I would REALLY not ever want or need anything else......
well maybe a FBass AC5 too!!!

The SA200/2xSA410 stack is my eventual goal, but getting my hands on ONE of these cabs is a good start! When I finally have the same rig as Tom does above (including my Sadowsky 5s, which look very similar to his), I will - dare I say it - RULE THE WORLD!!

That's what I thought. It really wasn't given the chance that it deserves. It is only a matter of time before everyone finds out about them and has to have one. (Looks like that time has come......)

easy,

if you have other heads, amps, etc. to use, the berg is the way to go. for my ears, the hs410 still has alot of the sa410 mojo. its not a perfect match, but its there. kinda like those ever so slightly faded black jeans that dont quite match that jet black shirt. it can be done, but you know it could be closer.
