That’s the Gibson Slingshot. They were readily available at all the usual retailers until a few years ago. I bought it at a music store in Costa Mesa about five or six years ago. I tried to find another one a few months back and struck out. Haven’t tried again but should. I usually use it with the Silverburst, but I’m liking it on the New NR for now. They’re very nice straps.
I thought I remembered you were the one who recommended them. Add this to the list Of things we wish Gibson would make again.Great straps that definitely eliminate any neck-dive. I have 4 of them for sure, maybe 5 or 6 if we include the ones my kids snagged from me.

I always got my best price from Amazon for them and you are correct, none are to be found.
I like everything about them but the Hot Wheels logo, but I get it--its marketing. Other than that, they look great. I loved Hot Wheels as a kid, but not so much now.
LOL - I wish! Then maybe I could afford one. Being a Fender Custom shop bass I’d guess it’s priced north of $4000.Fender consulted @GBassNorth for the design.
does it say anywhere what them buckers are?I like everything about them but the Hot Wheels logo, but I get it--its marketing. Other than that, they look great. I loved Hot Wheels as a kid, but not so much now.

They are Curtis Novack Thunderbird pickups..............7ender finally gets it, and copies Gibson.

How long are you looking for? Have you looked at the LM Products Viking series? This is sad. I've been looking for a decent strap that goes lower than the old one I currently have. I have not found anything that moves me. Nothing. All are too skinny or unsuitable for the Holy Grail of Bass Guitar that my Thunderbird has been to me throughout the years.
I’ve been looking around since before the pandemic. Music stores; online; even specialty makers of leather and I’ve had no luck. I’ve come across a crapload of cool guitar straps but they are just unsuitable for a bass. How long are you looking for? Have you looked at the LM Products Viking series?
Well, you have to think it through.I am sooo tempted to put some form of TBird pup in my Precision.
