My brother’s 67 Charger had that motor with the 4 Bbl..automatic though. It was still really fast. Too bad he totaled it when he was in college.

I say this cause the neck pick up spacing is like the original Gibson spacing.

Only year the CP’s had that if I’m not mistaken.

Then it would be an even better steal. Regardless of the year, that is a very nice Thunderbird.

Closed the deal on the CP unless he does something to sell me out. I am off to Reno and won't be able to pick it up until Monday. $400, near flawless condition, no neck twisting, with original Epiphone hard case. The serial number is 14022302632, which says Indonesia with a February 2014 manufacturing date.

Anyone have anything to add that might be relevant? Is early 2014 a 2014 or a 2013?

I read music and I have had lessons - several years of lessons. My teacher told me that I know more music theory than he does. It is part of my learning process; I need to understand the underlying to make sense of what is going on. I can't process rote learning (and that is why I always did so poorly in history class).



I find the tabs online useful as a starting point. But many/most of them are terrible. Only useful as a way to get started then work out what is really going on.



Like me. I took up music only a few years ago. It is my quest for life-long learning. I was looking for something new to learn and I had never done anything musical. I started with reading a book on music theory. Part way through I realized that I needed to play an instrument to make sense of some of it. Thinking through what I liked and wanted to do, I realized I wanted to play the riffs which equated to playing bass rather than squealing away on a guitar.

The downside to tabs is the lack of rhythm/timing that you get with notation. But yeah, as a starting place I’ll agree that they can be helpful. I keep thinking that one of these days I’ll post a list of all the resources I’ve found for free or low cost professional quality transcriptions. Almost all of them include notation on top and tab underneath.

Many of you have posted pics of 'birds and cool cars. My turn:

A baby blue '07 Toyota Corolla Verso. A real mean machine. Ok, it's not, but it works and the parts are cheap, the whole family plus the dog fits in and I can haul my gear with it (if the family is not in). And it's almost paid!

The inverness green looks more green now doesn't it?

Yes, he was a great drummer. One of my favs is "The Gates Of Delirium" '76 liv version from Yesshows. Squire and White are truly on fire on it.
I like his work with Terry Reid too.
