Thunderbird Club

If we all rush the place at once he likely can't all of us. How "likely" is qualified here does have implications. All depends on the means used.
Hmmm, that would require a bit of a change up in the planned security apparatus, but the front door is the choke point.
The most successful plan would be for everybody to make a break for a different door. There are several double doors and a couple of single doors on the first floor that exit the house. No way I could hold down all those exits simultaneously, even with the assistance of the overly affectionate puppy. Your odds just got much better, feeling lucky?;)

Not yet. Not entirely so anyway. If I knew I'd get the dog it would be well worth the dog love.

If I would justify another T-bird... anyway, I just spent that amount on a drum-kit for our band. I'm content with my flock.
I’ve been a good boy in 2022. Only spent about $200 on new bass purchases this year. The fanned fret was a trade and the BlingBird was all paid for in 2021. I’ve given wifeypoo a Christmas list. Time will tell if she thinks I’ve been a good boy also.

I was wondering if that would just slide by with many thinking it wa

I can provide reinforcements.
They don't require much pay as they do food and booze.

We can all write notes to her saying how great you are, your kindness is exceptional (other than that lead thing!), and you freely offer detailed life-saving Thunderbird advice. How can she turn us down or not take us seriously.

Never mind. Bad idea. Might be counter productive.

I guess it depends if you feel the need to have an exact, side-by-side tracing of a late '60s NR. My last build (Juniper med-scale) used a tracing my friend in Poland made of an early '60s Italian Meazzi Jupiter (that he owns) but the 'hips' were wider than my mahogany slab. I altered the tracing so it fit the slab. Looks good. [note: it came with two types of bridges in different years - the string-stop cover on mine is from an early '60s Jupiter, which had the other version] Also - over the decades, both the '63-'65 R and '65-'68 NR have had multiple clones and none (other than possibly the '70s R) are the exact same shapes as the originals.

What's that big control do, change the model train speed?

Wasn't there an old torpedo or mine discovered on a beach in the past year or so that killed several people in a family when someone messed with it?
Not sure. I was thinking about someone taking stuff up from the water that they were told not to, and it having the ability to burn a hole right through the boat if not caught in time. It did destroy some dive gear.

This 50-cal slug was safe to bring up.

Well there’s good friends, and there’s best friends. The best friends bring a shovel and don’t ask questions.:D;):cool:

Yeah, might be too much of a good thing. But thanks for the offer.

Today is my 38th anniversary with the current wife (she hates it when I say current). She’s obviously a keeper and very supportive of my many expensive habits (as I am of hers). Poopsi and I at a recent cattle branding…

She’s a Flamenco guitar fan, so she’s asked me to start working on bass accompaniment for that. Definitely different, but fun to play.

I sure hope not! It's a pretty heavy chunk of metal.
Probably not, but potentially a tracer round. Incendiary rounds weren’t very common, tracer rounds were more common. You’d be able to tell by the tip if it weren’t so corroded. I can’t tell from that pic. Just don’t try to file or sand the crud off of it and don’t store it near a high heat source like a fire place or stove top and you should be fine. Obviously don’t strike it with a hammer or cut it with a saw.

On Monday, I accepted a fair offer for one of my recently posted custom basses on Reverb. When one makes an offer - one is obligated to buy it if the offer is accepted. You get a quick (Reverb) reply saying once the offer has money sent/confirmed, you can ship. Never heard back. I looked at the offer again and noticed at the bottom the guy asked if it was still for sale (obviously if you were able to make an offer) and if so to contact him via an email. ~ scam ~ Contacted Reverb and talked with a rep on the phone to inform them and have my bass re-posted. They did and threw in a 'bump' to help get it sold. Reverb is a good company.

Anyway... the reason I brought it up is that if I had sold the bass, I probably would have bought that black T-bird. But I didn't so I didn't. :)
