If he doesn't. I like him better. A little! He played with the early version on computer album Trans. But yeah, he may be one of the few who flat refuses to use it.
That’s actually a pretty principled position to stand on, I like that. Good for him!He played with the early version on his computer album Trans. But yeah, he may be one of the few who flat refuses to use it.
Felix was one of my heroes when I was a young whippersnapper, wore out this album, course this is pretty clean.
Me too.If he doesn't. I like him better. A little!![]()
You mean three pair, I trust. They really only put out somewhere between 260 and 280 WRMS, they advertised peak power, plus 6 pairs of matched 6L6's cost a fortune.
Great set list, I don't think I've ever heard anyone cover '2000 Light Years From Home' before. 'Fire in the Hole', love that tune. Used to do 'Bulldog', love McCartney's bass lines. Hey, you need a bass player?![]()
Here's a music video with a T-bird that not too many people know of.
Yeah, it makes fun of Pete Townshend's mantra "Hope I'll die before I get old" but the song itself is just a nice little rocker.
I remember the first time I put some headphones on and really heard what Peter was playing. I was aaaaaamazed.
Same! That's a good one. Maybe weird, but my favorite is Dancing Queen. Also has an eerie feel to it. Well sung and produced.
That bass in the middle picture on the right looks something like my first bass, bought used in 1967 for twenty five bucks, except mine had a single pickup, that's a long scale? Mine had no name.

It is not a "happy" song, thus the haunting quality. Great harmonies, excellent arrangement.
Never really had much experience with pedals and power supplies. Thinking of a pedal that the power supply is 9VDC-18VDC, 40mA max. I have some power supplies that are over 40mA. Will one of those work since they will supply that (and more if it were needed), or must it be matched with a 40mA supply?
When I first saw the set list I didn’t recognize some tunes, but they were all familiar when I heard them.
Some are easy, but Ain’t No Mountain High Enough took some work and that bass run in “oh What a Night” is a bïtch!
His best album, by far. The purpose of the vocoder was rooted in his efforts to communicate with his son, who had a lot of developmental issues. He played with the early version on his computer album Trans. But yeah, he may be one of the few who flat refuses to use it.
Thanks Kara - as I said... Caps rule!

Not that it'll help Irv, but I have a stupidly high falsetto. Most of y'all have heard my natural, baritone-y voice on a coupla videos I've posted. I have no 'high mids'("Ah ain't no Country tenor"), but A above the treble clef staff is no problem and the C above that is possible with a little practice.Do you have someone to sing the high part in Oh what a night?
