Is that Frost Blue?I got the Bird earlier this year and it sat for awhile before I took it on as a project, getting the pickup wasn't easy and I doubt there will be any more unless I buy a Lull bass with them installed in it.
Some enterprising person should get the info and start building Thunderbuckers. It would be a cool retirement project! That's correct, TV Jones and Seymour Duncan have made them, SD came in after TV Jones couldn't keep up with demand when Mike was selling them separately.
I think Taking Care of Business was the first BTO I heard. That and You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet are the 2 that you hear/d on the radio.Blue Collar was the first song from BTO that I heard on Seattle radio - I think it's easily their best tune and probably mostly unknown, which is a shame. The guitar and bass are masterful.
I'm taking your word for it that all this means something.Leo would have had a blast with some of today’s software….not that he need it or something…,

I'd certainly give Lollars a try,
I was in my Senior year in high school/freshman in college at the peak of SNL. I remember LMAO when I heard that live. Back then you just never heard that kind of talk on TV. The Killer Bees, Samurai Laundry Mat, Land Sharks, Nightly News, Roseanne Rosanadanna, Steve Martin… we’re all bust your gut funny at midnight while under the influence.Yes that was too funny--and no one was triggered and needed a safe space. It was funny and everyone knew it was meant to be funny and nothing else.
Bass-o-Matic. You are one sick puppy.Let's put it in a blender and make fish smoothies !

I kept intending to ask how you were getting long with it….
Zero means a short. Can you get to where the leads are soldered to the coils? If you can, and can unsolder a lead there, measure at the coil ends. If zero, coils are shorted (assuming meter is good). If several thousand ohms, the short was in the leads and replacing those solves the problem.Yes, both soldered and unsoldered. Makes no difference.
In fall of 1974, I was given copies of BTO II and Not Fragile to review for the Technique (student paper at Ga Tech). I could not understand why they weren’t getting played more in Atlanta.I think Taking Care of Business was the first BTO I heard. That and You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet are the 2 that you hear/d on the radio.
BTW I’m still waiting on a follow up to their Greatest Hits album. They did say (so far)…
Wow!
it’s part of your V4 preamp….I'm taking your word for it that all this means something.![]()
Thank you all for your support. I'll check it out - good hintZero means a short. Can you get to where the leads are soldered to the coils? Clueless twits. Their stupidity is to our benefit. And yet, another one…

Indeed. It was something so many looked forward to--not knowing what was going to happen and then talk about it the next week. There is no program I watch on TV anymore. A few things from History, Discovery, etc., some sports--but for any comedy--I look to something older that's actually funny. The comments in this club thread are far more humorous than what's on TV. Largely do to the great cast here!I was in my Senior year in high school/freshman in college at the peak of SNL. I remember LMAO when I heard that live.
