French pan fried, can’t go wrong….marinate in red (Bourgogne preferably) wine overnight, pat dry, fry in unsalted butter with salt and pepper to taste….winner everytime…I really haven't tried this at home, kind of want to with some decent steaks.

Pork back ribs how my kids like them:Quicker than typing! Maybe not the best explanation, but it was the first. A couple things I might question is grilling doesn't have to be as quick as mentioned, and BBQ sauce is not necessary while cooking--or at all if done right. But if it is used while cooking, he's correct it's at the end of the long process.
Grilling Vs. BBQ — What's the Difference? (If There is One?)
that first one is by far one of my fave bass shapes (Hamer)….

Cool background vid on Rob Turner of EMG fame. Guitar oriented but really interesting as we all use pu's. I have EMG pu's in two of my basses; 9v low impedance EMGX J pu's in my Supersonic, and a Geezer Butler passive P in my Glam PJ. Great sounding pu's.
Is that the one where he talks about John Caruthers? He and John go way back. John wants me to put EMG’s in on of my Thunderbirds.
What J pup do you use in the PJ?
Damn. You still look like you. I just look old.
I was in my second band by then.In '72 was playing with Hot Wheels....You age well!

you are right, Gibson was around with that shape way before Hamer…It's been the bass I have touched the most in the past 4 months.
a couple years ago gibson had a 30" scale DC out and I was going to get one, but I don't like 30" scale so I made my own.
21 NR pickup, no nonsense....
DC treble geetars are my favorites too... or at the very least 17th to 19th fret strap button location.....

And by the way. She plays Thunderbirds (except when going acoustic) and SVTs exclusively. How can anyone not love her?Nikki Monninger from my FB feed, today is her birthday.

Good point. I’ll bring it up when the white one arrives and I bring home a couple from the GTG. Good thing the basement at the mountain house is repaired….She hurt your feelings? I think that gives you permission to get another Thunderbird.
New Yorks or Ribeyes. About an Inch thick. From Costco. A little EEVO. Kosher salt and pepper. Medium high heat. Four minutes a side, a tad longer if desired.I really haven't tried this at home, kind of want to with some decent steaks.
talk about 73 Ricks and fros…..my 73 in 82…I’m running EMG pickups in my 73 Rick.
It’s set up with an 18 volt power system under the hood.
They would hate me over at the Rickenbacker Club.
This thing screams BTW.

He’s in Camarillo now. A huge shop. CNC equipment, every tool one could ever need.I haven't seen John since the very early 2000's when his shop was in Venice.
I have Jazz EMG's in my JaazzBoid, the battery bugs me....
