He has a very nice and huge shop with lots of builds in the works. Last time I was in there (about two months ago) he must have had over 30 guitar necks in various stages of construction and finishing. I decided to give him a try for finishing my NR VP build in Shoreline Gold Metallic. Should be done in the next few weeks, was hoping to have it for the GTG but I don’t think that’ll happen. His finishing costs are in the same ballpark as Pat Wilkins, I hope his quality is in the same ballpark. Both are great guys to deal with, very open to drop in and chat with.

I got that too. From 10.99€ to 11.99€.

Worth it though. I know only a pittance goes to artists, but they have the Bandcamp like feature for some artists where you can donate to them through the app. They also alert to artists’ tours. And I can download 1000 songs to my IOS devices when I need to save bandwidth when I’m at the other house. Also, the algorithm for discovering new music is the best in the business IMO. And no ads with a subscription.

I want an M-Pulse 600.

I want a M6 Carbine. I think my TT 800, particularly the Subway Channel, is voiced closer to the MPulse. To me the Carbine sounds clean and clear. Something a little different than the voicings of my TT and my SVT.

There are four M Pulses on Reverb right now. They seem to run in the $700 to $800 range, plus shipping. Although there is one delusional seller wanting $1600. They aren’t close to NY though. This in Puerto Rico seems to be a good deal. Free shipping in a rack with a Furman and a compressor for 1K.

It takes a couple minutes for John to open up, but once he starts talking he is fascinating. He is one of the few guys in SoCal left from “back in the day” and he has been affiliated in some way with most everyone.

The MoPar 440 Magnum was a beast of an engine. I’d probably take it over the 455 that came in the 442.
Trivia note for the day - 442 stood for Four barrel carb, Four speed tranny, Dual exhaust. Many incorrectly think it was the engine size, which actually was a 455 cuin V8. Being the awesome Motörhead that you are, you probably already knew that.
