Duuuuude!!!
I’m the one who bought that!
And I couldn’t agree with you more.
A sunburst P just yells for tort.
We are way to much in sync.

Their stuff seemingly doesn't go obsolete with MacOS and IOS updates. In fact you can buy the original IRig along with newer updated models to this day without any bulletins that the stuff has gone obsolete. Apogee on the other hand has bulletins on OS compatibility for different products. Nothing against Apogee, they have great products, but I now have three that no longer work, unless I use a pre-Catalina Mac or a Pre-Iphone 12.

Just remembered that my original MIC may be obsolete as well-
And the iRig HD X wins. The 1/4" output back to my amp so I can listen to myself there while recording is perfect.

Too bad using a preamp pedal into it produces hum, but so does a software preamp in GarageBand.

The Amboy Dukes were under-rated.
You got that right. When I was in 7th grade, I started running with the high school track/cross-country team. One of the guys, who was four years older, was way into music like me. He got me into early Tull, the Dukes, and others. He was my ride to all the concerts in Santa Barbara until I got my license and he moved on to college.

Never saw the Dukes. But he had all the albums.

shag that horse poopie, we can build one them under $600. Name dropping entwhistle in the description doesn’t make it worth as much as an Alembic.

Were I in the right sort of band making good money, I'd want a set of matching reverse birds in primary and secondary colors (as well as a black, white, and pink one). Each pair of birds (red and green, black and white, etc.) would have something different WRT pickups. The pink would just be its own thing, maybe 4-5 pickups, a mirror PG and TRC, etc.

I saw George Follmer race one of those at Mid Ohio in the 1970s. In his hands, it didn't matter what it was, it was a weapon. He never finished a race without body damage somewhere.

I thought Laguna had noise restrictions. Maybe that's Willow Springs. Thunder Hill does not, appropriately enough. It has some blind crests in corners, kind of like a junior Corkscrew. Beats me what it's like in a car. On the bike, it sure is fun once you get over the idea that you just have to trust that the pavement will be where you are aimed.

That's why you walk the track, then ride it easy a time or two to fix the key spots in your mind.

It goes without saying that as soon as I do my Johnny Paycheck from the clampdown, many here will get a request to invite me for a visit. First stop, Brooklyn (even if Jeff has flown the coupe to Germany by then).

Dude, you have a standing invite here. Along with all the regulars and some of the irregulars.

You trying to cause a problem here?

This is what a Precision should look like.

Save the pepperoni for pizza.

Mine looks like that. Of course, the "P" stands for "poseur" because mine is a 2010 Road Worn, not a 1957 Precision, but that's just details.

That's a very tasty P. 3TSB and tort are varied. There's really nice versions of both, and versions that are why a lot of people don't like either. We're talking decades of both (and not just Fender) and there is no one version of either. I judge them all individually and don't lump them under one 'look'. But like everyone I'm critical and also like everyone I have my own personal tastes in all things visual, which may or may not align with anyone else.

Enjoy whatever makes you happy. :)
