In Fremont with the Father of Trolls (in the PG&E shirt). Alas, the Queen stayed in the car to avoid the paparazzi (and possibly a ticket or tow since the parking situation was dire). Granville Brothers Model Z Super Sportster…….1931 Thompson Trophy winner with Lowell Bayles at the helm….. motor on loan from P&W…..designer Bob Hall later claimed it inspired Ernst Udet (Lutwaffe architect) to push the radial concept resulting in designs such as the FW-190 “Butcher Bird”….

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but the new Reunion Blues dual bag will fit a Thunderbird.
Are there any acoustic engineer types here? Not sure the right forum to post this in. My wife and I bought a new (to us) apartment and are in the design stages of the work we want to do on it before moving in. In a room I'll be using for bass practice as well as my home office, I want to do some acoustic treatment on/in the walls and floor so I don't annoy my wife on the other side of one wall and neighbors on the other side of another wall, as well as below. Neither the contractor nor the designer/architect has any experience with bass frequencies; mostly human voices. I'm not looking for complete soundproofing, which would be cost-prohibitive, but just a significant reduction to not be transferring boom and vibration through the structure.
Band I was in recorded a record in the basement of a row-style home in Philadelphia. Neighbors on both sides. . The engineer had done this to the basement walls/ceiling and it worked very well.
