I'm a piker. I only did three hours last night. We saved one song that I go all jazz improv on until really late, and my intonation on the upright was beginning to fade a little. Oh, well. The audience was drunk by then, and they were impressed. I was sober and wasn't.

I might be playing in a surf band pretty soon. The telebird could end up with a baritone neck. That would be pretty wild if it happens.

Well ****. I plugged in my new Vintage Pro Thunderbird and it's dead quiet, not a peep. Checked all my cables, had a look in the back, nothing out of place. Tried other basses and they work. So much for Sweetwaters 55 point check. I guess its going back.

Ouch! That's a real shame. I wonder what happened.

The PG is going out to be used as a template. Should be back in a couple of weeks. Both our guitarists are going to Italy(not together)so we're outta commission. Good time for maintenance.

I am lucky I can fix almost anything I have a broad base of skills and knowledge. The garage door opener crapped out I knew automatically that was a stripped worm gear, parts on order.

I'm not quite that good at figuring things out, but decent enough that it completely irritates my wife.
