Thunderbird Club

Lol, what the... edit. (Was gonna say I want the poseable action Queen for my dashboard...)
True. :)

For reference, all between 1995 and 2000:

Ace Frehley and Peter Criss (The Strand)
Bob Mould (Lupo's)
The Damned (Lupo's)
Afghan Whigs (Met Cafe)
Richard Thompson (Lupo's)
Violent Femmes (Lupo's)
Dude that's a good list. Am jealous. In a good way.

Your bass player is a problem?
:D

I suspect as much from previous posts. It's the bass player.
;)

Obviously. I'm extremely high maintenance.

Give me a quartet of 6550s or KT88s, put me in the corner and I'll happily bang out E or A for an hour then ask if you want them again.

precisely why I don't have a barista or go to Starbucks..

Have you seen your barista lately? I'm sure this is banning material.
But hoping the naughty bits that have been disguised................ ok, i probably don't stand a chance.

Move over here to my area. I plan to retire (some day way in the future) in Prescott. Fun little town that is close enough to Phoenix to get here in a short-ish drive, but far enough away to not get all the summer heat. It actually has at least 3 seasons there.

Personally, love Flagstaff.

Arnold, Murphy's and other towns like Angels Camp and Mariposa in the Sierra foothills are still an in state option..
really nice that way..used to be really cheap but the wine tours and yuppies are ruining that too..
Those areas are on the list. But the fire problems, ability to get insurance etc. are real issues. And proximity to decent medical care....

You?!!, high maintenance? Uh, ok, back to my corner. Alas, the corners in the new pad are at a premium. I get to stand right in the middle now.

What a thoroughly unpleasant week it has been and the next week promises to be unpleasant also.

We have a situation where one band member's commitment cannot be questioned (in fact commitment strays over the border into obsessive behaviour which the rest of us find 'freaky') but said commitment far outstrips musical ability. The outcome is inevitable, but it's not something I'm looking forward to and hopefully will be the first and only time we need to do it.

????

No kudzu please.

That definitely should have been our approach. But instead, we excitedly brought it in and the feds paid lots of money to plant it all over. There are things we could make from it, but mainly we whinge about the fact that it's eating the southeastern USA.
