those don't look "powered" If so, you are going to need a power amp as well. Do they have an AC wall socket power cord/plug?Happy Friday everyone, I hope your week has been good. I am hoping for a little advice about monitors. I literally know almost nothing about them. The monitors we have used went with the drummer when he retired. I inherited these two and am likely going to try using them. Anyone familiar with them? I am told I need a pre amp to power them. Any suggestions? The only "preamp" I currently have is an MXR Bass Preamp that I use as a DI. Any suggestions, including sell 'em and get new ones would be greatly appreciated. Have a great weekend everyone.
Yup, But Fear Not!!Crazy thing is that I only had a gig back for the EB-2 for about twenty years. Somehow, it managed to escape harm. Proof that God looks after idiots. The idiot learned, and now it lives in its case when it's not out to play.
CONGRATS! Gorgeous bass! The seller and I exchanged our messages, payment is posted and he’ll be setting it in flight on the 1500 mile journey to me today. Now the wait begins. I’m excited! The aviary will be a bit crowded. Here’s a pic from the seller’s listing:

Thanks. Did not realize that. He’s been pleasant to work with, has good feedback as a buyer and seller and by all accounts loves his Rays. There was a beautiful sonic(ish) blue Ray next to this one in one of his pics. It’ll be my first with the modern Tbird PUPs. From reviews, they sound great. It has just been set up and strung with new Slinkys (like my babe Nikki uses). It’ll be fun.Nice catch!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the NR vs the 2015 once your new bird arrives. This is the same bass I was trying to work a Stingray trade on in December. Seller seemed like a real nice guy, glad it's gone to a good home.
Yup, But Fear Not!!
God loves "Idiots" that's why he made SO Many!!!
And BTW Self Proclaimed "Idiots" don't count, He loves them even more being they demonstrate a degree of "Humility"..Yup, But Fear Not!!

I think I've read someplace that some musicians have on occasion wore less than typical clothing on stage.![]()

I think I may need to get one of these:Well, I can totally justify a HPF pedal now, but I have to buy a cab instead. I'm going on a small tour in April and need a cab for my GK MB500. I think I'll sell off all my pedals I don't use, to offset the cost.

Those look passive to me. You would need a power amp as well as a pre. What are you using them for?Happy Friday everyone, I hope your week has been good. Our band uses QSC K12 speakers (active) for our mains and QSC K10 speakers (active) for our monitors. If it doesn't have a power plug coming from it, it's passive and needs an amp to drive itThose look passive to me. You would need a power amp as well as a pre. What are you using them for?
