Not really creepy, but kinda weird.I, and I know others here, like dealing with Sweetwater, but does anyone else find it kinda creepy that the sales people call you just to say hi or thank you for an order?

Where are you guys finding this? I’ve searched for info and came up empty.
They’re actually polite about it if you tell them you would rather not receive calls like that. Apparently some people strike up chatty friendships with “their” sales person. The guy assigned to me is a bass player, nice enough and leaves me alone unless I reach out about something.I, and I know others here, like dealing with Sweetwater, but does anyone else find it kinda creepy that the sales people call you just to say hi or thank you for an order?
Yes.Great what?
Right!!I think he means that all tend to grate on nerves after some time. Hence 22nd amendment.

And here I thought you were old enough to recall when that was the norm!Yeah I get that. I don't even like being addressed by salespeople when I walk into a store. Which is probably a little unfriendly...I, and I know others here, like dealing with Sweetwater, but does anyone else find it kinda creepy that the sales people call you just to say hi or thank you for an order?
What I can’t stand is the recent use of the word “boss” by sales people. Seems like it started three or four years ago and it’s become the common greeting. There is only one boss in my world (well, maybe two if you count my wife) and his name is Bruce.Yeah I get that. I don't even like being addressed by salespeople when I walk into a store. Which is probably a little unfriendly...
Your post reminded me that I had a (year?)FIREBIRD NR that matched my 67 THUNDERBIRD NR. I bought it because it matched and I thought it'd be cool to have[I don't play guitar]. Traded it for something(amp?). Wish I still had it.![]()
@Gaolee said, "Great what?"
Great justice, of course. As in, "Take off every Ziggy for Great Justice."

# chown -R us /base
<3When I saw them, they seemed like a pre-packaged boy band with guitars, playing pop-punk lite. My daughter has moved on, so I haven’t kept up with what they are doing.
Nice. You probably want "us:us" for good measure.# chown -R us /base
I would if she did. She doesn't.I, and I know others here, like dealing with Sweetwater, but does anyone else find it kinda creepy that the sales people call you just to say hi or thank you for an order?
I probably don't need to say this, but be VERY careful with the use of narcotics - they can be VERY addictive.Sounds like progress, albeit slow and very normal. Glad things are going in the right direction. I can see where having one arm strapped down would be anxiety. I think that's a completely normal response if anyone were to think about those implications. Hang in there--with the good arm.
You want to adjust the neck pu to balance out with the bridge pu's volume, just like any other 2 pu bass. Adjust the bridge pu as high as it will go, then adjust the neck pu to equal bridge pu's volume. Voila!Uh, thanks to both of you. I was hoping someone might have advice on a better starting point to move up or down from. I’ll figure it out. Neck pickup as it came is obviously too low.
