Squier Affinity Jazz Bass:
-Squier Precision Neck (for the standard sized tuners), hand sanded and tung oiled to my liking (will soon have a '62 Fender decal on it)
-Custom Pickguard... which got recently ruined and will need to be replaced
-1 Mojotone Vitamin T .022uF Cap
-3 Mojotone (Alpha) 250k Audio Pots
-Fender Standard Sized Knobs
-La Bella 0760M Flatwounds
-Happy Face Pin :)
-Aluminum Shielding
-Squier Precision Bridge
-Squier Precision Neck Plate

-Bridge and Pickup Covers (Possible in the future?)

And I know it isn't part of the guitar, but to me it is...
-Fender Vintage Styled Black Case w/orange felt interior

i figured this would be the best place to ask seeing as i just bought a squier jazz bass but where would be the best place to buy pick guards for squier basses and any other bass parts on the web? i bought a fender guard hoping for the best but it doesn't fight right around the neck.

Some Squiers are very hard to retrofit. There are differences in the Squiers themselves that make it much more than 'interesting' finding swap parts.

Perhaps a year/make/model and engine size would help for parts interchange possibilities - that and a pix or three.

The only draw back is that if you are not careful you can end up altering your tone. There is no prescribed amount to remove before the tone alteration happens. You may fair out better removing smaller pockets as opposed to one larger one.

The whole idea of a double-bucker bass (like with P-pups and such) has intrigued me, but that just bumps it up to a completely new level. What is the sound that comes out of THAT sexy beast?

The piggy jolly roger is a nice touch!

Now, my CV is another story...hot buttered sexy actually!

Again, with the black blocks and matching PG. Or even just the blocks! You people are killing me. The only other way to tighten this noose is to have a matching headstock.

Dude, I just can't stop staring. I feel like one of those lecherous old men staring at all the babes in bikinis down here in Oceanside.
