Uber 410 = Uber Bad *ss

Been gigging with the GBE 1200/Uber 410 combo for a couple of months now, and the compliments keep rolling in from crowds and soundmen alike. This cab is the real deal. I love how I am continually asked to turn my stage volume down... from my home practice volume :) This thing really does throw.

Totally agree with K's point-but not only is this as efficient as any other 410 out there , but the tone is just snarly crazy-ya just gotta hear one- it rips me up...Peace...DAcat

Revival! Got to spend a good amount of practice time recently with my M6 through a Mesa Powerhouse 1200 cab instead of my Uber 410. Using my Spector, tuning was A-C-G-C-F, and I was very surprised that the Mesa did not like the downtuning at all. Where my Uber 410 really starts to sing on those low As and Cs, to my ear it sounded like the Mesa was really being pushed and just wasn't comfortable. Granted, the cab sounded killer when I was in standard-tuning, but still didn't have nearly the mid bite of my Uber. Score one for Genz (to my ear, anyway :)).

I'd be willing to bet that an M6 or M9 (or the FET side of the GBE1200 along with some mild EQ'ing) through a pair of Uber 212 would freakin' kill!!!

They don't make an Uber 412 do they?
...Or an Uber 215?

No Uber 412 is made as far as I know , but as KsPINch said above- the Uber 410 already is a "killer" cab, which when I play mine with my Mesa Boogie Titan V12 head, I've also had several "kills" already this summer at outdoor gigs :D...Peace...DAcat :hiding:

I always listen to this forum for product feedback. If there is enough "demand" for a 4x12, we'll certainly look at it.

I was up at BassNW yesterday, and my buddy and I demoed the Neox and Uber cabs they had. I was actually quite surprised by the difference in sound between them! In both cases they were driven by an EA Micro head, and we didn't touch the EQ settings when we swapped cabs.

Both sounded great. The Neox sounded fairly wooly and chewy and mid-focused, more of a vintage rock tone. In fact it was so much that way that we decided it would not do for clean jazzy or proggy type of sounds. But of course if you like a fat chewy rock tone, then bam---Neox it is. The Uber OTOH had much more massive lows and clearer highs. Tons of punch and heft, even from the 210. And all the articulation a person could want.

After all the rave reviews of the Neox series here on TB, I was very skeptical of all the "OMG Uber" hype posted by the very same people. Shills and fanbois, every one of them, is what I thought. Well, I still have a bone to pick with the shills on this forum in general, but the fact is the Uber cabs are insanely good. Typically my GAS is quenched once I actually try out the items that get so much hype, but in this case I didn't even have any "Uber GAS" until I tried them out--and now I want one so bad! :D

yeah... i played an uber 410 for the first time last week... it was very much the finest sounding and punchiest cab in the store... at least to what i like to hear.
Where the mesa 410 cab was starting to fart out the uber was just starting to take off.. and not to tale anything from mesa gear they make some of the finest stuff out there IMO..But the uber cab was just fast, punchy, meaty, full and had an articulation that was pleasing to me... the 410 wont fit in my car but the 210s will... a pair will be a fine addition thinking it will have more port area so i will get more lows....

I'd love to audition a pair of Uber 210's and compare to the 410.
Basically, I prefer a one cab solution, but having the option of taking just one smaller/lighter cab to practices and smaller venues, does have a strong appeal for me.

Just found out my band is doing GrapeFest this year -- an Uber 412 would be a great cab for big outdoor shows!

I would like a 410 too.. but it just wont fit in my little car... so i have to break it up into two 210s..
once i unload my berg and aggys in getting the ubers..

Sept 17th 12:30pm to 2pm on the main stage -- not a prime-time slot, but we'll be rockin'!
Our chick lead singer is just awesome!

We play Willhoites on Friday and Saturday night about one weekend every six weeks -- that place is a total BLAST to play!

I know alot of people don't really care for 15"s but I am one who does. In today's world, there is not a lot of call for them but I for one would like to see 2x15 cabinet of Uber fasion. Just wishing and hoping someday it may happen because I am a fan of GB's and I am currently using the shuttle six and enloy it alot. My 2 cents.

Hey Hooda- I love 15's too- but have you tried out :ninja: a Uber 212 or 410 cab... the sound is deep and meaty and snarly ...and if you have'nt tried one, maybe you should before you decide to wait for a 215 model to come out :hiding:...as you may not be a 215 guy afterall!! :D Just sayin...Peace...DAcat

+1 If you like 15's try the Uber 212. Not quite as much upper mid as a 410. Nice fat but still defined bottom and punchy lower mids. It's a very rich, meaty sounding cab. (I'd love to hear the Uber 410/212 stack.)
