Uber 410 = Uber Bad *ss

The Shuttle12.0/Uber stack kills.:) Both cabs sound great on there own.
But, put them together and you have 1200 watts of raw awesomeness.:D

I just ordered up my Uber 410/212 cabs yesterday.
I cant wait to fire up my ShuttleMax 12.0 through them.
The reviews have been nothing short of awesome.
I will post gig reports soon once these bad boys hit the stage!

My Uber 410 / 212 stack is on the big brown truck. Should be here tomorrow. I cant wait to fire up these bad boys!!
I'll post some pics of them tomorrow! :hyper:

I always listen to this forum for product feedback. If there is enough "demand" we'll certainly look at it.

Roger,

I'd love to see you offer a series of combo tilt-back cabinets without an amp in them. This would be a cabinet where a Shuttle 6.0 or 9.0 or ShuttleMAX 6.0 or 12.0 could be quickly and easily slid into it to drive it, or likewise a competitor's D Class amp.

A tilt-Back combo cabinet with either a 1x15, or 2x10, or a 1x10 + 1x15 together all rated at 4 ohms. Just a suggestion with portability, tone and G-B quality being the focus.

This would allow us to leave our larger 410 and 810 cabinets at home when we're playing smaller gigs, but allow us to still use our Shuttle's and ShuttleMAX's (with all of their features) as a combo. :hyper:

Taking that idea and pushing the envelope farther, what about a powered tiltback cab with one empty rack space on top? Just stuff the power section of one of your medium-powered heads into the cab, and provide a 1/4" input that can accept either balanced or unbalanced preamp signals, with a switch for 0.7v, 1.0v, or 1.4v sensitivity.

That way a nearly endless selection of preamps could be used, in a very convenient small-gig format.

An alternative to the IP cabs.. cool!

Lots of creative ideas on how to package these things. I think one of the best testimonies about the Uber 410 is how few of them are available used. This cab has been around enough that you'd expect a few more of them to surface but it seems that once bought they're kept.

Not because I use and swear by GB gear..
People that personally know me, know that I don't BS or hype.. I hate hype!!!
Show me the money is my motto..

But you are right..

The Uber is the main reason that i have decided to go back to 10s...
I played the Uber 410 against a few different cabs a few weeks ago, and the only one that didnt cave in under the semi loud volume without farting was the Uber... and it kept its punch and clarity. Not to say that it wouldn't ever cave in.. But that while the Mesa , Ampeg, and another style 410 cab farted out, the uber kept asking for more..
For me 410s are not the way to go, but 210s are more practical.. I prefer multiple 210s cabs so that is my plan...

I'm with you. I like 2x10 cabs. I wish I had two or three 2x10 cabs as opposed to the 4x10, 1x15, and 2x10 Golight Cabs I have. I need a 4x10 like I need a hole in the head but occasionally I'd want to be able to use 2x2x10s.

BTW while we are talking about desires. I need a stinking decent amp stand or even one that doesn't stink.:D

How about a Genz Benz stand that would cradle a 2x10 up high and tilt back? All the ones I can find are crap. When using UB I need the cab off the floor and the more it is pointed directly at my ear the better.

I hear you Kirk. The Neox-212T came about because I didn't really dig our XB2 4x10 that much.

Then, we were designing a 4x10 cab for a VERY famous funk/jazz bassist.....(he went with another company before we were finished). Anyway, I/we really wanted this 4x10 to bring some warmth, punch and grind that some Neo cabs seem to miss. As well, we wanted to get rid of that "honk" that I hear on so many cabs.

So, in the end, I went back to a 4x10. I REALLY like 2x12's but with a 4x10, I can "sit in the mix" on any stage, with any band and hear myself better than I can with a 2x12.

Dennis Michaels still like our 2x12 better....as do some others. "Different horses for different courses".
