That's what I'm sayin. I'm shocked I haven't heard from others about this. There was a lot of hype about this a few months back.

I'd at least like to know what could possibly be holding them up.

I didn't know "mid to late May" ended on May 16.
I'm waiting for mine too, guys. It's 2 weeks until late May.
Stressing out prior to that time is completely optional.

This happens all the time, it's a new item, and there are delays. I can almost guarantee you won't see them before June. I'm more excited for the Oxford/Leeds pedals anyway.

I ordered one but I dont know if Ill keep it. I have the regular VT pedal. The more I gig it, the more it sounds very mid scooped to me when I engage it. So much so, I havent really been using it. Ive tried many different setting but none seem as punchy to me as Id like. Prolly go back to a pedal with a blend knob. Thats the only thing I dont like about the design

rob, www.putnamguitars.com can install a blend knob. also, think of the character knob as a second mid control and you'll get rid of the scoop easy enough.

ya, it does take a while to figure it out. i usually have the mid and character straight up and it gives me plenty of mids imho. it does require a little digging to find your own personal favorite sound.

I disagree with you. Tech 21's website said this for a long time:
"Anticipated Availability:late April/early May"

It did not say what you said "mid to late may." It said early May. And yes, early may is over by May 16.

Now, tech 21's site says
"Anticipated Availability: June"

I just emailed James at TPB and got a reply.

As per Tech21, the date has been delayed to the beginning of July. I don’t have any reason why, or an exact date, just that it has been delayed a bit. I’m working on getting more information and will let you know if we get any other useful information.

I know that’s not what you wanted to hear, but it’s what we have at the moment. That being said, we should be some of the first to get the product in our hands!

So yes, we're delayed.
James said he'll be sending email to all those who pre-ordered the VT Deluxe, so you should hear from him shortly.
