The contracts the vendor has with its distributors/sellers could forbid the vendor from selling directly to a customer.

We just received an update from Tech21 that the expected delivery date is now the beginning of July. We do not have an exact delivery date as of this time, but will work to get a more accurate expectation and will share that with you as soon as we get any additional updates.

Sweetwater states on their website that Tech21 has shipped the VT Bass Deluxe to their warehouse and should arrive in a day or two.

Hi all,

Yes, we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new VT Deluxe. This ETA is based off our last communication from Tech 21. We were told that it would ship in late May for an arrival here the first week in June.

I have a message into our purchasing office to contact our rep for an update. I anticipate that we will be told the same thing as the folks at TPB have been told. As with any new item, an ETA is an Estimated Time of Arrival, and I would take an ETA on a brand new item with a grain of salt. I certainly want them to make sure that the product is right, and free of defect before they begin shipping them out.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news (I'm also anxiously awaiting the VT Deluxe) but this from James:
I just spoke with Tech 21. This is simply not true. No dealer will be getting this pedal until July.
