VT Deluxe Talkbass group purchase?

I wish the fx loop had a separate switch. When you double click it, it momentarily switches over to the other input bank (during that first click) and your tone/volume changes during that moment.

It's designed to either be on or off for any particular channel, not for switching in "real time".

this thing KILLS. roarRr.

lol.... 'cept i've been running without a VT for awhile so i have to retweak all my settings next week when i get some time with my main rig.

effects loop question - i'm kinda an idjit sometimes... so, what's the benefit of having pedals in the efx loop? just for like having a bypass loop that lets you sorta turn off and on multiple pedals at the same time? it doesn't do any type of blend right?

*wobbles in ignorance*

see, IGNORANCE wobbles go counter clockwise, HAPPY wobbles are almost a figure eight type oscillation. but ALWAYS left to right.

sorta like front to back.

don't wanna get 'em mixed up.

I'm pretty much of an effects idjit myself, but I've got one particular tune that my band does that I use chorus. Before, I had to do some tweaking on the VT or the basss (or both) to get the right sound with the pedal. Now, I have it all preset, leave the chorus pedal on, and just tap that channel when it's time to go! But that's the only time I use the loop, I'm sure others are more sophisticated.

I'm loving this thing already! As soon as I got it, I preset Jimmy's SVT and fliptop settings, the chorus setting, and one dirtier, growlier channel for certain songs. And I did that in the 30 minutes before rehearsal Tuesday as soon as I got the pedal! My sound guy (who generally hates bass pedals) liked the XLR out and the fact that he didn't see me fiddling with any knobs during practice (he'll tolerate a pedal if you don't change anything after he gets the board set!) I've got a little refining to do on the settings before a gig Friday night but I'm really glad I invested in this.

Thank you Kesslari and thank you Perfect Bass!!:D

Question.

I want to use this with my Peavey Pro Bass 500. Do you think I can connect the line level signal of the VT to the power amplifier (i.e. external preamp jack). This jack‚ when used‚ disconnects the internal preamp, which is what I want to try.

Don't want to fry the amp and I don't see any warnings about doing this but want to be damn sure
