Wal Bass Club.

Took my MkI to Guitar Center the other day. They had an Ampeg SVT with an 8x10" cab. I noodled around on it in the corner, away from sight and at low volume. As soon as the store got quiet (rare occurrence), I cranked up the amp and blasted out a maddening aggressive bassline. Talk about an attention-getter! Some of the reactions were priceless! One guy was asking, "Is that for sale here? Wow!" Ya know, it's not nice to torture people like that....

Let's put some action in this club lol !

Premium price

ya :cautious: looks like two offers were made and declined. (anyone here??) i guess he's accounting for the wait, shipping, customs....plus you don't really see Mk III much in the used market. Other than that, i don't really see any other option upgrades. Looking at the figuring of the BEM, appears that it would be a standard grade....... no?? so £4050 to $ is roughly $6900 for it new??

The two declined offers were mine, his asking price is high and doesn't include shipping. I agree that it's a fairly standard MkIII, no fret markers either, looks a lot like that one in the YouTube video where the dude is demoing it.

Man ! Too fast ! Too expensive, but if I was in search for a MKIII ,I really prefer to bought a nice used one (like this one) than wait almost 2 years for a new one.
I don't mind waiting for a new build because I can get exactly what I want at that price.
Also, you and me have enough Wals to keep us company so 19 months doesn't seem painful.

Yes and be a bit more selective on what comes up in the used market ;)

So the wait still holds at 19 months for new builds? Been a awhile since I checked in with Paul.
