Agreed... that's one of my all-time favorite Wals... but I just don't need another fretless. If it was fretted I would have moved on it like I was in the matrix.

True, but I'm kinduva snobby Wal purist... if I were to buy a fretless just to have it fretted, I'd want to send it back to Surrey and have them build a second fretted neck for it, preserving the original-build neck. And that would blow the budget. Last time I quoted a fretted neck, Philip advised north of 2,000 USD. Foldissimo.

Nor does he loop his cord through his strap... I noticed him swinging the cord out of the way of his feet several times throughout the show. I thought it was interesting especially considering how much he convulses and stomps while playing.

curious if culling voices ever makes it to a setlist if JC would whip out the Pbass for that song.....i did the VIP experience and while the group was waiting outside to go in the venue floor for soundcheck i heard them playing that song with maynard singing - couldn't see and see what was being used. sounded really good semi-live though lol. when the group went in the floor area Maynard bounced....still cool though - heard an instrumental of decending and invincible.

Lol. Sure enough! He must’ve had an accident and stepped on it mid-performance. It certainly wasn’t looped when I saw him In May.

not personally.... Danny and Justin did say hi and greet people (handshakes and hi-fives) after the soundcheck whoever was standing along the barrier

I hope so. It would be cool to see him out live with it. According to the Bass Magazine interview he said the P was used for the first half and the Wal on the second half "once it got heavy" or something to that effect. My gut says the live version would be one or the other.
