what are you trying to say. spit it out.So, if you happen to be in Rodondo Beach, CA would you make it a point to not go into Bass Southwest? What if they had a bass you really wanted right there in stock and at a great price? Would you NOT go in there and buy it? Again, three sides to every story: yours, mine and the truth.
I'm hesitant to go to sleep tonight for fear of missing more details as they unfold

FINALLY something in the store's favor.taken from the sales post of Bass SW

First off, unless I can't see it, I don't see any mention of it being NEW nor being flawless. Was this asked verbally over the phone? If not, where is it assumed it's new? It's not misleading, just not mentioned it's used. Being a 2016 model, a 3-4 year old boutique bass that's not typically sold at stores if at all, I would likely be inclined to assume it's used. A picture is also provided of the flaw (if that's the flaw in question - would love to see a picture from the buyer of what he's referring to as he received it). I'm not siding with one party or the other, without more information.
On Surine's own website, only two dealers of their basses are mentioned. Bass Southwest is mentioned as a Dealer. (the only dealer in the US actually), the other dealer is in S. Korea.
Dealers – Surine Basses
So other Surine basses sold by the dealer, Bass Southwest have customer warranties EXCEPT this one which was sold to the dealer with a non-transferable warranty because it wasn't meant to be a bass to be sold by the dealer. Couldn't it be possible BSW had this bass mistakenly mixed in with their regular stock (remember, it's an older 2016 model ) and the validity conditions on that particular warranty was forgotten? If Surnine sold a bass, used and knowing about the flaw or flaws, shouldn't they sell it as a "second" and note it somehow by a stamp on the back of the headstock like what some companies do so it would avoid this very kind of confusion between the dealer and later to the buyer?
Sorry...just watched forensic files. getting carried away here, I should go to bed. lol
Thanks. Just wanted to try to see it from all sides if possible. One is protecting his expensive investment, the other, his business and livelihood. I can understand both. Conclusion and solution is easy....the bass is cursed. Just send me the cursed but absolutely beautiful item. I don't need the warranty. lolFINALLY something in the store's favor.
Good work!
This is nothing but false and misleading information buyer this buyer 100% false and misleading. I don't use TB much but was made aware of this by another TB user. Although this was posted in 2005 Im now seeing this and will not lower my standards to trash this buyer. I can say that I have sold basses world wide and never had any issues. This buyer unfortunately had buyers Remorse after buying a hand build boutique bass. If any one has any further questions feel free to email me at [email protected] Thanks to all of you

You photoshopped it outThese are the photos of the bass clearly flawless and new. Thanks for requesting.
Looks like you’ve got other dissatisfied customers on this thread, so I guess that says everything. Thanks I cant post some of his emails to me due to profanity and abuse threatening language.
You photoshopped it out
I will. I’m keeping Lou on pins and needles for a bit.Can you post a picture of this glaring and obvious finish flaw?
If you already have, please point me to the respective post, as I seem to have missed it.
Oh, and just so everyone gets how weird and shady this guy is...yes...that was HIS review of ME that he posted, claiming it as my review of the bass
I’m not denying my review (and would love to change it now) but this isn’t it

Cut the BS and just post what you say you have. This is not drama class and we all just want this resolved.I will. I’m keeping Lou on pins and needles for a bit.
