Hofner Club Bass. I played a Hofner Violin bass at a chain store and it was so much fun to play. Then a couple weeks later I went to a Wilco show (my all time favorite band) and realized that John Stirratt played a Club and I was sold. Currently playing with rounds but thinking about switching to flats because I find myself palm muting a lot lately.

Depends on the gig. I will say the Nash PB-63 is # 1 right now and has been getting a lot of playing time lately, what a great playing and sounding bass. Or it's the 2013 5 string Fender AM Deluxe, also a great bass. Before those two #1 was a 2009 Warwick Thumb 5.

Peavey koa TL-5.

Always loved the Koa Peaveys - very beautiful look and sound. I had no earthly idea they made a TL-5 that way - I thought it was only the....Unity (?) PJ model.

For the last few years it's been a Warwick Corvette $$ (2009 Ltd.) a couple weeks ago I got a G&L MJ-4 that is incredible. I will be using both but the G&L will likely be getting more attention.

I think the neck weighs exactly the same.
Some people believe the carbon neck is lighter because it could be (like in bicycles or race cars), but it honestly isn't lighter or heavier than the original neck.
The tuners, if anything, would be the only contributing factor. But as my bass sits (can't speak for Gorn), it's not a diver at all. It balances fantastically.

My Status necks feel a good bit heavier than wood and, sitting, exhibit some very very minor neck dive, even with Hipshot Ultralights. However, standing they balance perfectly so there's really no issue.

Like Gorn Captain, I added a Status neck to an already great bass and it became my ACE!

It was my attempt at a Musicman Cutlass I tribute and it's that and so much more! US SUB body, Status Graphite neck, Musicman branded tuners, clear PG. It's just so damn good, I can't NOT play it.
Handofseven supplied the neck, REV supplied the body and thanks to TB, I have a bass that I intend to keep fuh-EVAH!

I never had much luck with graphite necks, maybe time to try again.

My 76' BC Rich Eagle Supreme!!

This bass has some serious mojo, I can tell it was taken care of but played extensively! Its not without flaw or modifications though, the original HI-A's were replaced by EMG 5 string soapbars(I had the Duncan's put in) and if you look close the bridge was installed slightly crooked(these were handmade instruments though!!)

I love her, she fits my hands perfectly!! Its a bass I just have to play!!!

The bass that I will be buried with, 97 Squier Protone. My first bass ever, I received it as a gift for my 15th birthday and it is still my favorite go to in the studio and live when permits. I played it so much that the back of neck went from its original stain finish to now with a gloss shine, and the casing of the P pickup also caves in at where my right thumb rests. The bass has gone through countless of upgrades over the years. Currently, sporting a set of Seymour Duncan Vintage P and Classic Stack J, Hipshot bridge, Gotoh tuners and Fender flats.

I have the same bass, albeit very modified. I replaced the pickguard and the knobs, and had the frets removed. She's the bass I have owned the longest, almost 20 years now.

1976, I had to replace the original Badass1 because it was super corroded!
