EVEL KNIEVEL STUNT BASS

Remember, Play SAFE(LY)! Don't forget to wear your crash helmet at all times while the strings are in motion, do not remove helmet until the tube-amp has shut down and the tubes have cooled completely. Failure to do so could result in damage to the reputation of the graphic on your bass, and cause irreversible bass-face. Contents may have settled during shipping and handling; offer void in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Maryland and Rhode Island.

The finish of that flag is not a thing to have these days in the world of political correctness, but remember for many it is a part of history. Many families lost husbands, sons and brothers over what that flag meant. You can demean the flag but don't demean the loss of so many on either side of that war.

Don't just cover part of it. That would get confusing for anyone who takes the time to look that carefully, and since audiences don't usually give the bass more than a quick glance, most of them probably wouldn't even notice a clever sticker. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of partially covering it with a black power symbol, but I think most people wouldn't get it, or might even get the wrong idea.

Refinish, resell, or cover it with so many stickers it's not even visible.

Just post a sign on your amp or mic stand which reads: "Quit yer gripin'....it came this way!"

Keep in mind that this is Virginia where we still have Confederate re-enactors participating in skirmishes throughout the state.

Sell it.
Folks who get their <deleted word> in a bind over a flag are <you fill it in pal>.
Get over it and research history worldwide and color(race)-wide.

How much you want?
A white Foundation is on its way here now but that one is welcome to keep it company if you're going to destroy a piece of Peavey history. PM me prior to wrecking the thing.

It's a refin. It's not a "piece of Peavey history". Refinishing it to something less loathsome is not destroying it. Although I can't imagine why the OP would trade for something like this.
