If we are talking slab then maybe a lined fretless Rob Allen mb4. I honestly have zero bass guitar GAS these days. That's the only bass guitar I can think of that I'd want. I guess a 70's P with an A neck would be acceptable too.

Most likely either a Status Stealth 4-string or Alembic Spoiler/Elan, would have to test which body shape would be the right one for me.

Sounds Great. Can I ask you some specifics on your ordering/build process? I was at the Alembic factory a while back and they said it is much more cost effective to order through an authorized dealer? Any info would be great. My next purchase/build is going to be an alembic as well. Did you order the Series 2 electronics?

A near impossible question to answer, really, considering gas never dies for some. But if you mean the last bass I would get ever, right now, then for me it be a ric because I don't have one of those yet. Got pretty much everything else I want other than that.

I was going to guess you already bought your last bass ever after getting the Carl Thompson. Trust me, you might want a ric, but that's like eating McDonald's as your last meal on death row..btw, I like McDonald's occasionally..
