I'm doing estimated mid retail 'cause I don't want to know what I've actually spent (though it's probably a good bit lower than this number will be)...

Effects: $350
Misc (Bags, Cases, Covers, Cables: $200

So now I'm at $6840.00. I'm not even going to try to figure what I spend on strings. I guess I could throw in what I've spent on drums sticks. Oops, did I just say that? I didn't mean it!

Been a long time since I've been on here and have had to sell part of my collection in order to survive (having turned professional!)

Just sold my treasured Jaydee Classic (ex Mark King) serial #00002 to a collector in Paris for £16,000. My remaining 28 or so basses are worth whatever anyone would pay for them, my most treasured bass is now an Alembic Series 1 which I believe once belonged to the late John Entwistle who died a year ago today - RIP John.

I would estimate I own around £30,000 of gear and sadly had to sell my Porsche too!

Must remember to open that shop!

IMO...the Monster Cable is a waste of money...

PeteBass said he tried a variety of different cables(including Monster,if I remember correctly)
and he said they all sound the same..
