Didn't think I'd ever belong to the 2x15NT club, but here it is.
My first rig that wasn't a combo was an old Peavey MKIII with a 2x15 cabinet so I suppose I've come full circle.
yesterday I threw some b&c Neos in my warwick 215, Sub 30 Kilos now, light n loud. Speakers Need some time to "Play in" (dunno if it's called like that?!) but it sounds great even now!
No tweets or mid-drivers here... Those are two GreenBoy Bassic 15 cabs with the Faital speaker. I actually used to have the same 2x15 rig the OP was asking about... two of the Ashdown Compact 15s.
I guess this would also qualify for a "show-us-your-TB-rig" thread. The J bass was built entirely from parts obtained from various TB members.
The V4BH came from a Virginia seller, as did one of the 15e cabs - the other of which was a local pickup. Love this setup and use it whenever we
play venues with easy load-in (I'm old and lazy). The rest of my needs are covered by a pair of Bag End S15-Ds with either GB Streamliner or old
grey-cord 400RB.
All these 15s is making me miss my Showman tone-ring cab.. Wish I had the room and space for two tone-ring cabs loaded with E140s and powered by a low watt tube head!
