I have this exact bass, and love it. Bought mine in '85. Just recently put some EMG's in it since the original pickups sort of fried out. It is sort of "yellow" now due to playing out so much. Wish I could restore it to it's original white....
I have always switched between this and my '72 Fender P-bass...
