i hav seen school of rock at least 100 times and EVERY time it ends, I keep expecting a bass solo, as if somehow they tacked it on at the end. Shame, Shame

When you're running in formation for PT and you're humming a made-up bass line to the cadence that's being called....
when your at work and construct an acoustic rubbber band bass out of raw materials and packing tape....and tune the rubber bands by twisting paper clips....only problem is the rubber bands break after too many slides on the neck...but it makes work a hell of alot more fun!!..it gives off a banjo like sound....heres a couple of pics..

I thought about this thread the other day when I was sitting in the waiting room at a local Wal-Mart waiting for my car's oil change and tire rotation. I noticed a poster on the wall that talked about tire care, damage, blah blah blah. There was a section heading on the poster that read "BEAD DAMAGE". I couldn't believe that I didn't read that as the word "bead", but that I saw it as the notes for a downtuned bass B-E-A-D. Sheesh....
