Zoom MS-60B announced... at last

No that we've heard, but people are using a wide variety of power supplies with good results.

Steve, from online pictures I notice the PSA-120S has a sizable oval black lump towards the end of the cord. Is that some type of ferrite core to clean the signal?

Just picked up a barely used one of these off a local forum! Should be here early next week. Pity my hand is in plaster from a mountain bike crash! The manual will be well read before it makes a sound... 
I'm curious because the highest mA available for Voodoo Lab PP2 is 250mA. I wonder if it will be enough to power this pedal.
It should be fine. I've tried many 9V power supplies from 100ma to 1700ma. I haven't found one that didn't sound fine yet. Not the same for the B3 though, it had a loud pitch ring with everything I used but the original power adapter. Maybe that's why it is came with one.
That's funny, I think I have your old B3, and I'm powering it and an MS-60b with a OneSpot with fine results.
Any news on firmware updates containing new effects? I was convinced this thing had a bit crusher and am sad to find out it doesnt

Those lumps are ferrite cores, in most cases they are there to suppress radio interference.
I've powered my MS-60B from a USB power brick and a USB cell phone charger with excellent results. The power brick has two USB output ports and I also tried running the MS-60B and a Tascam DR05 recorder at the same time. That did not work. I could turn either one on but with both on I got a lot of power supply noise indicating too much current was needed.

thanks, i also powered mine with 1spot with the rest of my pedals and no problem. that is because the 1spot has a total of 1700mA. while the PP2 has isolated outputs. and the highest mA is 250mA on 2 of the 8 outputs. the MS-60B is labeled 500mA. so my question is, can it run on 250mA of PP2?
Jury is out on this. Zoom sez it needs 500ma, but numerous people are reporting that it works OK off 250ma and lower.
The MS-60B has the same processor as the B but less hardware, so it makes sense that it should draw less current.
The only thing that would worry me, would be whether the Voodoo Labs box is going to overheat.

Well you CAN run a high compression engine on low octane fuel, but you're certainly not going to get the most out of it, and may actually damage it. I'm sure there's a way to measure actual current draw of any pedal when maximum processing power is being used.
Is there a way to set a global input and output level? My bass is a bit hot for the input and the pedal is hotter than the bass on the output, on all programs
