Count me in. I've recently come to terms with being transgender and I'm in the process now of coming out to family and friends. I told my bandmates at practice the other night and they were fantastic about it.

Only when I clean strings. No point in cleaning my 57RI P-bass though. The nitro just seems to absorb all the grime and sweat. That bass looks twice as old as it is!

I think all of my basses have at least one sticker on them somewhere. Heck, I put one on my 57RI a week after I got it. Hater's gon' hate.

Higher gauge strings, a new nut and a setup is all you really need to drop down.

I actually own one, it's one of my favorite basses. Bit on the heavy side though.

My dad's 4003 has the exact same issue. His has only been lightly played since he got it in 2006. He never had much room to leave it out on display, so it stood in it's case whenever he wasn't playing it (which was always around the house). It was in the case for maybe a year before we moved...

You guys, does finish color affect tone? I'm asking cause my red bass sounds more "angry" and my brown bass sounds "warm" and my black bass has a "dark" sound but I can lighten it up by putting a white pickguard on it it think. I think it might just be a mental thing

I have this exact same problem on one of my Squiers. I tried to fix it a few days ago, but when I put the strings back on the tension pulled the bridge back to where it was originally. I guess the wood I used for the dowels wasn't solid enough. I'm just going to leave it like it is for now...

What did you use to make the 1/4" cables? I'm thinking about doing something simmilar to clean up my board.

Every one of my basses has a crack there. Nothing to worry about.

If I played in standard tuning I'd be rockin a shorty for sure. They seem to fit my playing style and it'd be nice to have something smaller on stage.

I don't know about the amplug, but the GSR200 is a fine bass.

If I were him I'd bust out some sandpaper and get to relicing it to it's former condition. Also, put some frets on that thing. Doesn't he know that defretting it hurts resale value?
