I agree it would be great to have a stand that functions as a tablet holder. I usually play seated with my iPad on a microphone stand with my microphone… it is a little tricky getting everything situated so can access it. I may go back to standing when I play to increase my mobility. But...

I would make any mods to the side of the fingerboard… it’s much more visible (when playing) to me than the front. I use a pencil from time to time… it rubs off over time and you re-do it when needed.

In celebrating Donald Byrd, I spent sometime enjoying one of my favorites.

I think the stamina issue is very relevant to all of us… there’s just not a magic solution. I think the suggestions everyone put forward are very well stated. Sometimes it helps to just listen to a great recording , bass solo ect.. to make us try to up our game (or maintain it)

The EUBs can be fun and very portable… but they have their own feel and sound. If that’s what your after great. If you really want the DB sound and feel, you will probably be disappointed. My 2cents
