Running bass through analog synth rather than buying a bunch of pedals

No. MIDI is digital, MIDI would have nothing to do with running your bass through an analog synth. Alot of hardware synths have Audio Inputs but it's usually just for running things through the synth's filter(s), or modulation sections, it would be the equivalent of buying a low pass filter...

Dual Overdrive options for guitar AND bass?

It doesn't have 2 footswitches but the Smallsound/Bigsound Mini works wonderfully with both guitar and bass. I use it in that capacity.

    Phase shifter

The Earthquaker Grand Orbiter is a pretty great phaser. I love the it sits in the mix without any volume drop or bump.

    Fuzz it up!

Enjoy it. The build quality of Brad's stuff is top notch

    Your favourite delay

Endangered Audio Research AD4096 Dirty, dusky, lo-fi, super unique sounding delay. Nothing else like it, its refreshing to use a delay that doesn't just try to emulate a tape delay.

    Diamond BCP1 or Empress Compressor?

I vote Diamond, just a no frills, great sounding compressor. Go for the Empress if you need more detailed idiosyncratic control over your compression.

    What are you GASsing for?

No joke I'd give up sex for 5 years (im 20 now, yes I would cut myself off at my prime) for one of those. Anyway, GASing for a Science Amps Mother or a Reeves 225, need those hiwatt tones. A TC Ditto X2 and for the new TAFM I ordered to come in the mail.

    Custom Stomp Boxes

Smallsound/Bigsound Brian's TAFM is one of the best bass fuzzes ever made. I have no doubt that it'll be a classic remembered for years to come

Definitely not analog. But yeh, sounds like the freeze is what you want.

The blackout effectors cadavernous has piqued my interest

PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

That would be a Foxrox Octron, it's an analog octaver. And the one with the red knobs is the Endangered Audio Research AD4096 which is a lo-fi dark all analog delay.

What's coming and going XVIII: (We Don't Need) Rehab

Foxrox Octron, the octave up is Hendrix-y on guitar, synth fuzzy on bass. Plus you get a massivly fat octave down

    Afraid to use chorus

You'll never really be able to cop a fretless tone with chorus, but chorus plus fretless is a godly sound Anyway it's likely you won't want to spend the this much money but the Dr Scientist is the best sounding and most feature packed chorus out there today. And I can assure you has none of the...

Yeah the nimbus has been on my board forever, I think longer than anything else. It gets used more as texture/feedback enhancer for my fuzz these days but, never going anywhere.

Where do you get your pedals?

I try to buy direct when I can (it's important to me to support American, Canadian small buisnesses in general), otherwise it's Prymaxe or PGS if I'm really hurting.

Where do you place your compressor???

Mine is first, which does weird things to the envelope follower on my Xero, but whatever, I hate the super dated cheesy sound of envelope filters anyway, not trying to troll here... The Xero just gets used for static dubby stuff and expression pedal sweeps.

    Expression pedal for multiple pedals

Now if someone could create a good pedalboard friendly TRS cabling solution, I'd be set. It's next to impossible to find low profile right angle TRS plugs for DIY, let alone anything pre-made. Those pancake plugs don't cut it for me, they collide with 9v plugs and in/out jacks on today's...

    Treadle filters (with benefits?)

I've read that the Wonderlove is finicky about the pot value of the exp pedal its taking. With that being said I'm sure it's an awesome filter as I had a great experience with the OG groove regulator. The funkzilla looks real sweet tho. Definitely on my list
